Standing for Something in the Home Based Business Industry

Most people start out with a clear vision when venturing out on a home based business venture. However for most people, slowly and surely after the knocks and bruises have hit, the business owner begins to look for short cuts. Their mouths are slowly filling with bile and lies and the most tragic of circumstances arise - their loss of business ethics.
The home business industry is surely a tough industry to be a part of. Most budding entrepreneurs start out fresh eyed and bushy tailed. Honesty abounds and ones mind is filled with thoughts of grandeur.
What can money provide, what can a business opportunity offer a family? These are some reasons why an individual may start their own home based business in the first place.

The sad fact is that 95% of people just can’t seem to succeed in the cut throat online industry. When backs are against the wall, the weak will begin to lie and invent grandeur. Some may hire a fancy sports car and take photos of themselves with the cars. All in an attempt to somehow build an appearance of wealth. The only problem with this is that the appearance of wealth is actually an illusion.
Lies will eventually destroy the credibility of the person and in turn the individual will leave the home based business industry with shame.

Many times a business entrepreneur will arrive at a fork in the road. They will be faced with a choice. The choice is quite simple really. Will the individual change their own mindset and commit themselves to becoming a leader that they themselves would follow, or, 'fake it'.

Mark Hughes once stated, "Fake it till you make it".
I wouldn't like to think that he meant people to fake every aspect of their lives in order to deceive people from their hard earned cash. I would like to explain what I believe to be the very important key to standing for something. Standing to remain loyal to one self and others around them.

1. Become a leader in mind
This involves an attitude correction. Negative thoughts can corrupt ones soul. Feelings of low self worth abound and many times negative comments come from sources we regard highly. In the end the individual must 'know' who they are and realize that this belief in self value, the belief in what YOU can achieve is actually what matters most.
Design a plan of who you want to become. Now, is this person you want to become - is he or she a leader that you would follow? If not - then find what values, characteristics you will need to either develop or strengthen. People will follow leaders. People want to achieve success from leaders who exude confidence from their own beings. Becoming a leader is truly a task of self analysis and perfecting what you find.

2. Become a leader in deed
What do you stand for? Assisting others, providing support, lifting others spirits - what do you stand for?
When you have made notes and examined your purpose for undertaking a home based business , then you will begin to become a leader in deed and in thought. Things of value include; providing for the comfort and welfare for family, being an honorable person and citizen etc.

The sad truth is that the majority of persons choose the path which leads to failure. They deny truth and deny their leadership potential. Lie after lie erodes their confidence in their business venture and slowly but surely they leave the industry. The sad part is that they do not leave alone - but leave a trail of broken hearts - homes and people in their wake.

Entrepreneurs - be aware- the home based business industry is one where people approach with caution but proceed with a ray of hope. This is the industry to take the person out of their current situation and into a better one. Hope is what drives people forward.

This is an industry for Leaders who will
Stand tall and who will Stand for something Greater.

Front End Marketing for Back End Results

Home Based business opportunities requires skills that need not only be learnt but also mastered. One skill which has been mastered by the internet entrepreneur Mike Dillard is the concept of Back end selling of your home based travel business, vitamin business or any other home based business.

No, I'm not talking about illegal, under the table dealing here. You see, people every day are bombarded with business opportunities. Some are even turned off by the fact you are trying to pitch them to join you in your business opportunity. What Mike Dillard started with his "Magnetic Sponsoring" a couple of years back has brought light to the home based business field. Still, one notices that this 'back end' selling of the business opportunity has largely not been implemented by the majority.

The Concept 'revealed':

The successful entrepreneur attracts people to their 'small', high quality product. This product is usually around $20 - $50 in price. The person is attracted to the product and enters their email and name where indicated on the landing page (the 1st page landed on).

The person is then directed to another page where they are instructed about the benefits of the product. It is here where they make the payment and purchase their product.

Now look closely at what has just happened. Someone needs this product. It is a low cost product where 'trust' isn't really a factor. The person has entered their details. THIS is the main aim of front end marketing. To have their details now enables you to communicate with the client, to build rapport - develop trust through auto responders or other email means.

Of course the client can opt out at any time, which avoids spam complaints.

The essential key factor here is that now as you build trust you can offer other products to this customer. They trust you, after having purchased previously from you and having witnessed that their original purchase was of high value.

Usually you would pitch 3-5 other products slightly higher in cost value IE. $50 - $250, before you pitch your business opportunity.

The advantages of doing this is that the products sold:

1.Builds trust

2.Provides value and solves a problem for the consumer

3.Provides you with money to utilise in advertising (essentially this is called FREE advertising)

4.Enables you to position yourself as a leader in your field

5.Higher percent will join you in your business opportunity

Statistics show that about 5% of people will join you home based business opportunity. The question should then be are you going to let the other 95% of your investment (leads, advertising etc.) go unrewarded. Never leave money on the table.

A Golden Nugget to Ponder and Apply

I wanted to share a pearl of wisdom which I believe will be vital to your home based travel business - or any other business , for that matter. Actually it may even benefit your individual life.
This photo represents joy. It was taken in the hospital where our fourth child was born. I am surrounded by my pearls and my lovely wife took the photo!
Why do I mention this? Well, throughout the years I have received many comments such as - "you are too young to have children, 2 children - wow! (3 ... 4... children!!!!), you must be Crazy!" The main stream of comment revolved around how unlucky we were or that we were crazy to have so many children at a young age. Many would think that we had not planned to have four children, that we should have "purchased pay tv" - or "entertained ourselves in other ways!"
But my friends, the truth of the matter was that my wife and I knew the blessings that a family brings. We knew the joy that would come into our lives having to tend, care and nurture our children. Not everyone can have this blessing and gift. We planned to have children, we planned to provide for our children, we planned everything!
Now, not all of our plans went the way we wanted them to - but I'm happy to say that most have gone either the way we planned or exceeded our expectations.
Its funny, because business is exactly the same in terms of planning. Do you honestly think for one moment that a successful business entrepreneur in the home based travel industry or any other business industry achieved their success by luck? NO WAY! They have planned EVERYTHING. Starting from:
1.What the individual wants to achieve.
2.What Internet Marketing or business knowledge they need to acquire
3. What sacrifices need to be considered for success
4.What happens IF they do not achieve quick success, and what happens if they do
Everything is planned and therefore the person begins to attract the success they have planned.
The fool is the person who thinks that the law of attraction is only positive thinking. It is a bit like saying mathematics is multiplication. Yes it is true that multiplication is part of mathematics BUT there is SO MUCH MORE to mathematics than just multiplication.
There is so much more to the LAW of ATTRACTION than just positive thinking. You plan for success, your goals are aimed to achieve success you put yourself in the way of success. If you do this then success will hit you.
A home travel business or any other business venture needs planning. Does one ponder the reason that over 95% of home based business owners fail? I have and have come to the conclusion that one of the factors would rest at the fact that the individual did not adequately plan. Plan a way around failure. If that means returning to your employment for a short period of time - then so be it - But do have a plan.
NEVER Change you end goal.
By changing your end goal you change your vision, you change your focus. You become soft and wayward. Your plans will never be worthwhile if the end destination keeps changing.
A final note to the reader. Create your Goal. Design a plan step by step in order to attain that Goal. Execute Your Plan. Plans may be modified - but Do not Change your Goal.
Plan for Success - Execute Your Plan.

How to Start a Home Based Travel Business

I had the same question pulsating through my head not too long ago. That question which just doesn't seem to go away until you know the answer, how to start a home based travel business?

For starters, I have been involved in different types of business opportunities. None involved travel and none of my previous business ventures attracted more people.

It's quite simple really. People want to travel. People desire a luxury holiday where they can relax and enjoy the sun, the sand, and the blue clear water. What stops them from enjoing their desires is the J.O.B. When you can only afford to take 3 weeks in year to have a holiday ... it really ticks people off. (well, it ticked me off!)

So, the logical thing is for the employee to start a home based business in the travel industry. If people love to travel and you are able to work from home - then you are firstly going to have the clients for your business and you are not going to have to commute to work every day.

There are many home based travel businesses out there. Ranging from Global Resorts Network, Coastal Vacations, Platinum 1 Destinations etc. This post is not intended to promote any of these companies - that is an aspect you will have to do your research on. But suffice to say - your first step in answering the question of how to start a home based travel business is to have a plan.

1. Decide that you want a home based travel business

2. Decide which home based travel business you would gladly represent.

-Which company you find is professional and offers a product which you can be proud to represent.

-Compensation for the home based travel business needs to be sound

- Your mentor or sponsor or team in your new home based travel business needs to offer training and support.

I will write more concerning these two points in later blog posts. They could cover an entire series in them selves.

Travel is a 7 Trillion Dollar Industry. A Home based business opportunity offers you the ability to earn money from home. Now combine the travel product with your desirable industry - you have a market for making money.
